Crest Healthcare Pro Junior Series Ultrasonic Cleaning System
Designed to thoroughly clean (remove tissue, blood and other contaminants) instruments prior to final disinfection and sterilization
Crest Healthcare Pro Junior (PJ Series) Ultrasonics Cleaning System is a freestanding instrument cleaner with multiple wash/rinse cycle options and touch-screen digital control supplied in a compact stainless-steel cabinet.
The ultrasonic washer contains all needed components to effectively wash (utilizing ultrasonic cavitation in a detergent-balanced wash solution) surgical instruments prior to disinfection and sterilization.
The PJ is equipped with an automatic opening lid and load elevator for ergonomic, easy and safe instrument loading, and touchscreen control.

Features
The PJ Series Ultrasonic Cleaning System is wired for operation on either 208 V (50/60 Hz, three phase [5 wire]/ single phase [4 wire]) or 240 V (50/60 Hz, single phase [3 wire]) voltage and shipped with power cord. Crest supplies a complete working unit ready for installation and connection to facility service lines.
The Wash/Rinse Model includes the following features:
Optimum Ultrasonic Cleaning Power is ensured by patented simultaneous multi-frequency design. Ultrasonic digital generators deliver dual (58/132 kHz) frequencies creating optimal cleaning action and noise reduction. The digital generators are mounted with individual slide out modules for ease of service. Also, patented ceramic transducer modules are bonded to the process tank providing efficient energy transmission for instrument cleaning.
Touch Screen Control enables operator to open lid, select cycle, start or pause cycle and monitor cycle progress from the touch screen controller.
Locking Caster Wheels are supplied for ease of PJ Ultrasonic Cleaning System movement.
Safety Interlocks and Controls help to ensure operator safety.
Large Capacity Process Tank Each new unit ships with one standard instrument tray. Tank is constructed of type 316 stainless steel with a BA finish.
- 17-gallon (64L) tank holds 35 lb (16 kg) of instruments
Illuminated Controls include MAIN POWER ON/OFF, ALERT: READ SCREEN and Touch Screen Display.
Two Chemical Probes are provided for Chem-Crest® containers of detergent and lubricant.
Front and Side Service Access Panels are supplied on the unit for ease of any maintenance procedures. Access doors are scratch and dent resistant. Lift-Out access panels are constructed of type 304 stainless steel. Front doors have automatic power cut-off feature to protect components and operator when doors are opened.
Base Plate, Frame and Removable Countertop are constructed of type 304 stainless steel.
Automatic Lid and E-Z Load Tray Elevator improve safety and increase instrument loading and unloading ease. E-Z Load Tray Elevator is positioned at a convenient working height and is oriented laterally for ease of loading and unloading heavy instrument trays.
Port Flushing System processes up to 10 rigid lumened surgical devices with both ultrasonic energy and internal flushing.

Chem-Crest® 407-L is a non-hazardous petroleum distillate designed to be used at full strength in an ultrasonic bath for the primary use of displacing and absorbing rinse water and for the lubrication of medical components. This solution is designed to absorb large quantities of water, which can later be settled out for the purpose of reusing the lubricant.
