Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE is a unique, high-performing, non-flammable, azeotropic fluorinated, and chlorinated solvent blend explicitly developed as a safe, powerful, and environmentally favorable product for the critical cleaning of precision components. The robust azeotropic structure means that Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE can be continually recovered by distillation within the vapor degreaser without any changes in the composition or by using an external recovery system. As a result, Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE suits various engineered parts, medical, electronics, optical and other precision cleaning applications.

| Typical Contaminants Removed | Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE removes heavy greases, oils, waxes, silicones, and non-polar residues. It replaces high GWP CFCs, ozone-depleting HCFCs, TCE, and nPB solvents. As a result, this product is environmentally sustainable with low global warming potential (GWP) and zero ozone depletion potential (ODP). |
| Operating Conditions | Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE is used at 100% by volume in immersion and vapor degreasing applications. Contact your Crest representative for product-line-specific recommendations. |
| Substrate Compatibility | Chem-Crest SolvaClean 73 DE is safe on various metals, including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, steel, glass, and ceramics, when used as directed. Please ask your local representative for polymer compatibilities. Further material testing can be completed in the Applications Lab. |
