Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA is a unique, high-performing, non-flammable, azeotropic fluorinated, chlorinated, and isopropanol solvent blend explicitly developed as a safe, powerful, and environmentally favorable product for the critical cleaning of precision components.
The robust azeotropic structure means that Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA can be continually recovered by distillation within the vapor degreaser without any changes in the composition or by using an external recovery system.
As a result, Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA suits various engineered parts, medical, electronics, optical and other precision cleaning applications.

Typical Contaminants Removed | Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA removes rosin solder flux residues, oils, greases and waxes. It is designed to replace CFCs, HCFCs, HFCs, PB and chlorinated solvents. This product has zero ozone depletion potential and other favorable environmental, health and safety properties. The isopropanol in Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA fluid provides enhanced removal of ionic contaminants. |
Operating Conditions | Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA used at 100% by volume in immersion and vapor degreasing applications. Contact your Crest representative for product-line specific recommendations. |
Substrate Compatibility | Chem-Crest SolvaClean DA is safe on various metals, including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, steels, glass, and ceramics, when used as directed. Please ask your local representative for polymer compatibilities. Further material testing can be completed in the Applications Lab. |
