Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA is a unique, high-performing, non-flammable azeotropic blend of Isopropyl alcohol and Hydrofluoroether (HE) solvent blend explicitly developed as a safe, powerful, and environmentally favorable product for the critical cleaning of precision components.
The robust azeotropic structure means that Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA can be continually recovered by distillation within the vapor degreaser or an external recovery system.
The increased polar soil solvency and low surface tension, nonflammability and constant composition during boiling of Solvaclean IPA fluid make it ideal for precision and specialty cleaning and rinsing for removal of particulate, fingerprints and light soils from metal, plastics, and glass parts.

The robust azeotropic structure means that Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA can be continually recovered by distillation within the vapor degreaser or within an
external recovery system. Chem-Crest SolveClean IPA is suitable for applications such as light surface contamination cleaning, finger print removal, tank flushing, dust particle cleaning and precision rinsing. It is also suitable to be used in cleaning and degreasing applications including engineered parts, electronics, optical and medical components.
|Typical Contaminants Removed||Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA removes adhesives, buffing compounds, drawings oils, fluxes & pastes, greasers, hydraulics oils, lapping compounds, resins & inks, silicone oils and waxes. The isopropyl alcohol in SolvaClean IPA enhances the removal of ionic contaminants. It is designed as an excellent alternative to traditional chlorinated & brominated cleaning solvents that are designated carcinogenic, mutagenic or reproductive toxins (CMR). This product is also an excellent drop-in replacement to many ozone depleting substances.|
|Operating Conditions||Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA used at 100% by volume in ultrasonic immersion and vapor degreasing applications. Contact vour Crest representative for product-line specific recommendations.|
|Substrate Compatibility||Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA is safe on large variety of metals and plastics, when used as directed. Please ask your local representative for polymer compatibilities. Further material testing can be completed in the Applications Lab.|
|Availability||Chem-Crest SolvaClean IPA is available in 5-gallon (50.7 lb) pails and 55-gallon (529 lb) drums.
