Chem-Crest SolvaClean MA (Modified Alcohol) is a clear, colorless, ether-odor, fast-evaporating, high-solvency fluid used in vacuum degreasing systems to clean various components in the aerospace, automotive, medical, electronics, and other industries.
Chem-Crest SolvaClean MA is used as an industrial cleaner, grease and paint remover, metal, and hard surface cleaner.
Modified alcohol has polar and non-polar properties. So, it is suitable for removing contaminants such as machining oil, waxes, fats, coolants, polishing compounds, and metal particles from steel, brass, aluminum, and all other metals. It dries completely without leaving any residue.

Substrate Compatibility | Chem-Crest SolvaClean MA is safe on various metals, including stainless steel, aluminum, carbon (mild) steel, and a broad range of seal materials, including Viton GF, Teflon, and EPDM, when used as directed. Please ask your local representative for polymer compatibilities. Further material testing can be completed in the Applications Lab. |
